"Super easy site to use"
Homehardware.ca is really easy to get around. The search works well, and I can usually find what my local store has without much hassle. A few pages can be a little slow to load sometimes, but the checkout and pickup info is clear enough. Overall, no major issues at all...

I felt a little pressured to plan around them because sometimes they showed up on time, but other times they were kind of late. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit stressful not knowing what to expect.

I reached out to them twice about an issue with my order, and somehow both times went absolutely nowhere. Their so-called “support team” felt more like the “not our problem department.” Nobody seemed interested in actually helping, just passing the issue around and calling it a day.

The staff was nice enough, and I don’t want to be too harsh, but checkout took longer than I expected and they didn’t have the screws I came in for. Maybe I just caught them on an off day? It wasn’t a bad experience, just kind of average this time.
"Warranty got sorted, but it took some chasing"
I had a warranty claim with them and, it was a bit more effort than I expected. I was dealing with it during a busy week, so maybe that made it feel more annoying, but I had to follow up a couple of times and explain the same issue twice. They did eventually sort it out, which I appreciated, but the replies were slow and the whole thing felt a bit clunky. Not a terrible experience, just kind of average overall.
"Decent store, checkout could be smoother"
I like the store overall and found what I needed, but the online checkout was a bit frustrating. It kept freezing after I put in my address, so I had to rebuild my cart a couple times. The payment page was slow too, and I wasn’t totally sure if the order had actually gone through until the confirmation email showed up. Not a bad experience overall, just think the checkout process could use some work.

"Arrived on Time, Packaging Could Be Better"
The order showed up right on schedule, which I appreciated. But I noticed the packaging was rough, the box was dented and the tape job looked kind of messy. Luckily, the item inside was fine, but when the outside looks that beat up, it makes me wonder if this is a packing issue that happens often. I expected it to be secured a little better.

I ordered a few things from homehardware.ca it was smoother than I expected. The emails were clear and came at each step, like when the order was confirmed, when it was being prepared, and when it was ready for pickup. From the tone of the updates, I kind of assumed everything was on track, and it actually was. I didn’t have to keep checking or wonder what was going on. Pickup timing matched what they said too, which was nice. Just a simple, straightforward order that went well

"Fair delivery fee and easy checkout"
I ordered a few things from Home Hardware and was happy with how it went 🙂 The delivery fee was lower than I expected, especially since some places charge way too much for small items. Checkout was simple too, with no random surprise costs popping up at the end. Everything arrived on time and in good shape. For the delivery price, I’d definitely use them again 👍
"Curbside pickup was frustrating"
I ordered online for curbside pickup and ended up waiting almost 40 minutes after I called to let them know I was there. I was parked right out front the whole time, and it felt like no one knew where my order was. When I finally got the box, one of the items was missing too. Just a really annoying experience, and I probably won’t use pickup there again.

"Broke in a week and nobody seems to own the issue"
It broke after about a week, which was disappointing. What made it more frustrating is that it wasn’t clear who was actually responsible for helping me with the problem. I kept getting the feeling it was being passed around, and nobody really wanted to take ownership of it...

"Decent for Basics, but the Selection Feels Limited"
I use homehardware.ca sometimes, but the product selection is really kind of disappointing. A lot of basic stuff I look for either isn’t listed at all or only has one or two options. It’s fine if you just need something simple, but compared to other stores it really feels limited. I usually end up checking the site first, then buying somewhere else.

"Return Process Was a Marathon"
I returned my order and then got to enjoy the thrilling experience of waiting way longer than expected for it to be processed. Nothing says convenience like checking for updates every few days and wondering if your return has gone on vacation.

the store was okay overall. the aisles were a little dusty and had some clutter here and there. the staff were fine though, nothing really stood out either way

"Better Value Than I Expected"
I’m not gonna lie, the prices were better than I expected, and I can’t say I didn’t feel like the stuff I bought was worth it. It wasn’t hard to find good deals either, so overall I’m happy with the value.

"Pickup order was a mess"
I ordered 3 items and somehow 2 of them weren’t even the ones I picked. When I went for store pickup, they weren’t much help either and basically just told me to reorder. It kind of felt like they just wanted to push the problem back on me instead of fixing it there. Frustrating and a waste of time.

I ordered a few things from Home Hardware for in-store pickup, and the whole process was straightforward. I got the email later that same day saying my order was ready, which was nice. When I got to the store, the staff found it without much trouble, although I did stand around at the counter for a little while before everything was sorted out. Nothing too serious, just one of those things. Everything I ordered was there, and the prices matched what I saw online...
"Really Frustrating Wait"
I ended up waiting forever, and every time I asked for help, the staff just passed me off to someone else. My sister was with me and even she was surprised by how unorganized it felt. Definitely not the kind of experience I was hoping for

"Website Stock Was Actually Right"
I checked homehardware.ca before heading over because I needed some screws and paint trays, and it said my local store had them in stock. I was a bit skeptical, since store inventory online can be hit or miss, but both items were right there on the shelf when I got there. it was a relief not having to wander around or make a wasted trip. Happy with that, even if I still don’t fully trust online stock counts every time.
